Are you ready to discover how Organizing Magic can change
your life? If you live in the greater St. Louis, Missouri area,
here is how the process works:
Contact Jodi
Complete and submit the form on the contact page, or call
me at (314) 504-8857. When I receive the form, I call you within one business day at the time you have requested.
The phone consultation (20-30 minutes):
During this call, we talk about your
needs and how I can help. The purpose is to ensure that we are a good
fit. If we both feel that we can work together successfully, we schedule our first session, which is an in-home assessment. There is no charge for the phone consultation.
The in-home assessment (2 hours):
At
the
beginning of our
first session, I sit down together with you and your parent(s) and
review the ideas
that were discussed during our initial phone conversation. For
school-related organization, we look at all of your school gear
and supplies (backpack, binders, notebooks, folders) and develop a plan
for
improving your organizational skills. This may include:
- Creating a homework schedule and a work station
- Setting up a system to manage and file school papers
- Time and task management training
For room organization, you show me
any rooms or areas that need to be organized, (bedroom, living room, etc.) and we discuss goals
and ideas for each area. With the remaining time, we complete at least one mini-project together.
At
the
end of this session, I leave you with the action
plan that we created together, as well as a list of some of my favorite
organizing tips for students. The charge for this in-home assessment is
$175, and is
payable by cash or by check at the conclusion of the session.
Organizing sessions (1 or 2 hours):
I am available for followup organizing sessions as
needed, both for schoolwork and room organization. During our
organizing sessions, we review your previous goals, making changes
as needed, and work together to fulfill your goals. I provide you
with guidance and structure as we move through
each step.
